.COM.MX Domain Names - New Extension on Offer

NTCHosting are glad to announce the presence of the .COM.MX domain extension in the web hosting Control Panel. The .MX top-level domain is the official TLD of Mexico and is available for registration to anyone because there aren't restrictions for registrant's nationality or residence. There are certain requirements set by the .MX registry nicMX, which makes the TLD different from the other ones that we are offering, and we would like to provide you with the main TLD features:

Registration Period: Registration of .COM.MX domains is possible for 2 years only.
Domain Renewal: Domain renewals are available only for 1 year and must be ordered before the expiration date, as once the domain name expires the registrar removes it from our account with our registrar. Approximately 16 days after the expiration date are needed for an expired domain name to become available for registration.
Pre-Configuration: The .MX registry requires a confirmation by the registrant that he/she agrees with the domain renewal policy. For this reason we implemented an additional step in the domain registration process.
WHOIS Management: Once a .COM.MX domain is registered, the WHOIS information changes can be requested only with a trouble ticket opened from the Help Center that is located in the Control Panel of the hosting account. The nicMX registry will review the new WHOIS information and will approve or reject the request. The opened ticket will be used to inform the registrant in case the WHOIS information is rejected for some reason.
WHOIS / ID Protection: .COM.MX domains can not take advantage of this service.
Registrar Change / Transfer: .COM MX domains can only be transferred away from our registrar to a second registrar, not vice versa.

We believe that the .COM.MX domain extension will help our customers from Mexico and America to choose better domain names for their websites. We would like to do the same favor to our German customers, releasing the .DE TLD by the end of the current week.
