Renewal Option Available for Domain Names' IDP Service

Publish Date: Thursday, July 24, 2008

NTC Web Hosting is glad to inform you that Renewal option is available now for our customers' domain names' ID Protection (IDP) service.

The ID Protection service can be ordered for .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .BIZ, .TV and .CC domain name extensions. It gives you the possibility to mask the WHOIS information that you present when purchasing a domain name and thus protect your identity against spammers, stalkers and fraudsters who obtain information from the public data of domain names. The service can be ordered only on an annual basis - for one year (to be active till the expiration of the domain name, e.g. 6 months if 6 months left till the expiration date, or 12 months - in the case when the domain is newly registered), or for multiple years. All our web hosting clients are now able to renew their IDP service from the 'Domain Manager' or the 'Renew Plan' section of their Web Hosting Control Panel.

If you wish to renew the ID Protection service only - go to 'Domain Manager' and open the tooltip with renewal option appearing when you click on the IDP type icon against a particular domain name. If you wish to renew the IDP service together with the respective domain name - select 'Renew' domain name. Or if you wish to renew the IDP service with renewing the whole web hosting account - go to 'Upgrades' -> 'Renew Plan' section of your Web Hosting Control Panel. The service can be renewed for one year and for multiple years, monthly pricing is not available. Note that, if you have less than 12 months till the domain name expiration, you can renew the IDP service for one year only, multiple-year renewals will not be available.

Best Regards, NTC Web Hosting
