Last information update - Wednesday, June 27, 2007
As we have announced in April, a new Domain Manager in the web Control panel has been released. There were a lot of new features but a new one called "auto-host", has been implemented for your convenience. As you know until now, each domain that has been registered or transferred through the Domain Manager had to be manually added to the Hosted Domains section in order to host it in your web hosting account. Although this wasn't a big problem, you were supposed to spend some time adding this domain for hosting and knowing that time is money, we have tried to save some of yours.
Here is some more imformation
| The domain order procedure has been changed slightly but just enough to make it smarter. Now it asks whether you want to add for hosting the domain that you are registering or transferring, instead of leaving it with a "floating" status and manage it later. |
| But what happens if the web hosting plan quota does not allow hosting of those new domains? Well, the system will check if your plan has available domain hosting slots and if there aren't, it will suggest an appropriate upgrade option - domain hosting upgrade or hosting plan upgrade. |
| At the last step, the information about the different services that you have selected is displayed, so that you can see clearly what you are about to order and what the total price and the price for each service is. |
This improved order procedure makes it possible to register/transfer domain names and get them ready for use in no time. We hope that you would consider taking advantage of the new feature of the Domain Manager.
