How to set SPF Protection to your domain from your Control Panel


Setting SPF protection for your mailbox to prevent sender address forgery is done in a few easy steps:

1. The first step is to log into your web hosting Control Panel. You can do that by clicking the Control Panel login link in the top right corner of your screen. To log in, fill in your account details in the corresponding Members Area log-in form fields. Next hit the Login button to go straight to your Control Panel.

2. Once you open the Control Panel home page, look for the SPF Protection icon located in the Email Options section and click it.

3. In the SPF Protection interface you can clearly see the option to enable/disable any of your mailboxes.To enable SPF Protection for a mailbox - select YES, to disable it - select NO.

3.1. When the SPF Protection option is enabled, you will be given the possibility to define some new settings.

3.2. You can type in all hostnames that are authorized to send mail for the chosen domain name. Make sure to separate hostnames with space, comma or semicolon.
Then specify the Ipv4 or Ipv6 address of your mail server, the only one authorized to handle outgoing mail from your domain. Using the checkbox options you will be able to authorize more hosts to send email from your domain.
To apply all changes - Click the Apply button located in the upper right corner of the SPF settings panel. A green pop-up message will confirm for you that the SPF records have been set successfully.
