How to add a custom SRV record to your domain or subdomain - overview

1. To start, you need to log into your web hosting Control Panel. Click on the Control Panel link in the upper right corner. Then type the details of your web hosting account (such as username and password) in the Members Login Area form and click the 'Login' button to go straight to your web hosting account.

2. Next log into the Custom DNS Records section. Click on the Custom DNS Records icon in the Site Management section.

3. Next follows the most important third step - setting a custom MX record.

3.1. First select a host that you wish to set a custom MX record for from the Hostname drop-down menu.

3.2. Then select the MX DNS record type from the Type drop-down list and add the IP address of the mail server that you wish to point the MX record of your host to.

3.3. Next specify the Priority Level and TTL values or leave the default ones. To submit your add-MX-record request, press the 'Add New' button.

3.4. Then click 'OK' in the pop-up message to confirm your request. That's it.
