How to enable SSH access for your account
To be able to establish a secure encrypted connection with your server, you will need to go through a few quick steps.
1. First log into your web hosting Control Panel. This is possible by clicking the Control Panel log-in link located in the upper right to open the login page. Fill in your web hosting account details in the members area log in form. Click Login to go straight to your Control Panel index page.
2. On the index page of the Control Panel, point your mouse to the SSH Access icon located in the Site Management section and click it.
3. Once in the SSH Access administration panel, you will be able to enable SSH Access for your account with just a click of the Activate button on the right.
A green message will confirm for you the activation of SSH access for your account. You will be able to see the SSH username and SSH host that you will need to use to access your server through and encrypted connection.
4. From this section you can set the password that you will use to authenticate your SSH connection request. To do that, simply specify your SSH password and then re-type it in the Password and Re-type Password fields, respectively. Next click on Set SSH Password to activate your new password. The new SSH password will be confirmed with a green pop-up message on your screen.
Now you know how to enable SSH for your account and you can establish an SSH connection with the server using the username and password you have just set.
